My next door neighbor's pipe burst so my entire studio flooded Saturday afternoon.
I rescheduled my afternoon appointment, bought a Shop-Vac and spent five hours
cleaning up the mess. This is one way to really get a thorough cleaning! I moved all the furniture, the big vinyl backdrop and threw away the carpet padding to clean and dry everything. I feel so badly for real flood victims. I can't imagine if this happened at my home.

Oh my! I hope the furniture is OK----and your equipment! I can say, the good thing is, you have a new shop vac. Those things are great and I don't even use a regular vacuum anymore! Hope all is well now, Peggy!

I have heard so many flood stories in the past few days! I think I was pretty lucky that I only had to throw away the carpet padding.

OH Peggy, I can't believe it. You poor dear, just when things were coming together in the new digs. You know we are still trying to get our house back together from our water disaster. Water, water, water - can't live with it, can't live without it. Up here in Ohio we have been without power for days now from Ike - Tell me how does a hurricane in Texas make it's way all the up to Ohio and wreck havoc. Well hang in there.
